I have gone through all kind of different trainings with acupuncture. It is just a part of me at this point. That's a second nature in terms of what to do, how to do it. I never got too much into the electroacupuncture because in my mind, acupuncture was really just a tool to transmit my energy. I locate acupuncture points on acupuncture map. There are points, they are lined up. I actually feel for the point. It's like no, this is the spot that needs to go because an acupuncture point is more like a low side, there's a general local that it needs to go. It is wrong to feel the actually palpate to feel exactly where the needle actually goes. Acupuncture can be used in a lot of different ways and by thinking about how I use it. As people coming in and sharing their problems, I'm thinking about what modalities of therapies can I use with them. Right off, if anybody has any kind of muscolo-skeletal problem, I'm thinking about acupuncture. Usually I'll use acupuncture after I've done some kind of manipulation. I've done something, with respect to the muscle, with respect to the joint and now I want to use acupuncture to lock in that change, to lock in whatever subluxation in the spine was corrected. To lock in whatever-- I corrected trigger points and now I want to keep the flow of energy smooth in the areas so it's less likely to come back. I use acupuncture as an accessory to the problems musculo-skeletal. I've demonstrated from kinesiology that you really have an organ weakness. Your liver keeps showing up that it's not doing what it needs to do. I can do acupuncture specifically to help with the bio-energetics of the liver. Acupuncture will come up a lot in terms of organs, it's going to be the lungs. Right along the thoracic spine, a spinal muscles, sends a sympathetic chain, which helps to regulate bronchial dilatation and just your overall breathing. If I stimulate those muscles that can have a profound effect if I do acupuncture along the paraspinal muscles or what I call the shoe points along the forensic and lumbar spine. I use it to strengthen. Let's say there's an accumulation of energy or blockage, you're having a one-sided migraine headache, I might palpitate and find that the origin of that if I think about the meridians, they are run through the head. One sided, I'm going to think about a triple [unintelligible 00:20:41] meridian, I am going to think about gallbladder. Then what I'll do then is use a distal point in the meridian, I might find that a point over your liver is particularly tender. When I do the acupuncture point there, all of a sudden, that congestion begins to drain. I use it in that way to actually drain areas where there's an accumulation. I use it for tonification, I use it, that would be call for a sedation and then I use it as an accessory tool and help me address muscular skeletal conditions and other problems.
